Introduction

It has been suggested that this species may be a synonym of Paracentropogon longispinis (see Larson et al 2013, based on information from J. Johnson). Tentatively we retain the species pending publication.

Extra Distribution Information

Shark Bay, WA (25º21´S) to Southport, QLD (27º58´S); tropical.

Australian Endemic.
