Taxonomic Decision for Synonymy
- Keyserling, E. 1883. Die Arachniden Australiens, nach der Natur beschrieben und abgebildet. Nürnberg : Bauer & Raspe Vol. 1 pp. 1421-1489. [1476] (who designates mormon as the senior synonym. He also points out that the redescription of penicillatus in Keyserling (1881) p. 1319 is of Hyllus pterygodes (L. Koch, 1868))
