Extra Distribution Information

Coastal from Pentacost River, WA (127°40'E) eastward to Jardine River, QLD (142°28'E), Mua Island, Torres Strait, and eastern rivers of Cape York to Mossman River, QLD (16°28's). Southern limit of distribution in QLD is unlcear as it overlaps with M. adspersa. Records from Mitchell River, WA (125°39'E) probably based on Mogurnda oligolepis (see Morgan et al. 2011), and records from the Frew River, NT (20°35'S, 134°56'E) may be an undescribed species (see Wager & Unmack 2000); tropical, New Guinea.
