Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Corymbia tessellaris (F.Muell.) K.D.Hill & L.A.S.Johnson [MYRTACEAE] Carbeen, Manna Gum, Moreton Bay Ash; Acacia linifolia (Vent.) Willd. [FABACEAE] Flax-leaved Wattle; Acacia longifolia (Andrews) Willd. [FABACEAE] Sydney Golden Wattle), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Acacia mucronata Willd. ex H.L.Wendl. [FABACEAE] Narrow-leaf Wattle).

Cowie (2001) recorded this species from Eucalyptus viminalis.
