Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Acacia obtusifolia A.Cunn. [FABACEAE] Blunt leaf Wattle; Corymbia tessellaris (F.Muell.) K.D.Hill & L.A.S.Johnson [MYRTACEAE] Carbeen, Manna Gum, Moreton Bay Ash), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Acacia dealbata Link [FABACEAE] Silver Wattle).
