Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Juncus sp. [JUNCACEAE] ("adults feeding on stems of Juncus sp. [Juncaceae] especially where these are associated with Casuarina glaca [sic] [Casuarinaceae]" (Bellamy 2013: 74))), volant.

Larva: root-feeder.

Extra Ecological Information

Bellamy (1988) recorded this species feeding on stems of Juncus sp. (Cyperaceae), especially where these are associated with Casuarina glauca.
