Introduction
The tribe Liopropomini, sometimes treated as a distinct subfamily, comprises three genera (Nelson 1994) and 34 species (Nelson et al. 2016). Two genera and five species are known from Australia including a species from Christmas Island. Randall & Taylor (1988) revised Liopropoma. Maximum size is around 15 cm.
