Introduction

The relationship of this species to others in the Pacific and Oriental genus Lamenia needs to be examined. There may also be more species present in North Queensland.

Adult: phloem feeder.

Nymph may be fungal feeder

 

Diagnosis

Head, pronotum legs etc., pale testaceous, frons more or less sordid. Scutellum pale yellow. Abdomen blackish, posterior margin of each segment narrowly pallid. Tegmina and wings subopaque milky, apex of costal cell infuscate. Length: 3–3.5 mm to apex of abdomen, 5–6 to apex of tegmina (Kirkaldy 1906)
