Holotype WAM P.35282-001, Garimbu Creek around 2 km upstream of the large waterfall near the confluence with the Roe River, Roe River catchment,, WA [15°20’30.01’’S, 125°33’22.88’’E].
Paratype(s) NMV A.31917-013, 014, 020, 022, 023, 024, 025.
Introduction
The holotype was collected only 12.6 km north of the type locality of H. regalis. Genetic material for H. regalis apparently came from the Prince Regent River, a long way from the type locality of H. regalis, although authors did examine paratypes from the Roe River..

Known only from Garimbu Creek, a major tributary of the Roe River, Kimberley Plateau, Western Australia
