Diagnosis

Carapace elongate in lateral view, about 1.5–2.6 mm long; dorsal margin weakly rounded to almost straight. Carapace laterally moderately compressed. Fused valve zones wide; pore canals straight, marginal septa absent. Left valve overlaps right one along entire valve margin. Swimming setae on antenna well-developed or reduced. Terminal segment of maxillular palp short, distally broadened. Seta d2 on second thoracopod about 2 times longer than d1. Caudal rami symmetrical both with similar rows of spines, posterior seta small, closely attached to terminal claw.
