Holotype CSIRO CA 3647 68 mm SL, SW of Imperieuse Reef, Rowley Shoals, Western Australia [18°07’S, 118°09’E].
Paratype(s) CSIRO B 3293 5, 66.6–85.8, same data as Holotype; 16 specimens, 34 - 86 mm SL (A range of specimens from NW Shelf housed at AMS, WAM & CSIRO), various locations on NW Shelf.
