Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Allocasuarina huegeliana (Miq., 1982) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] (adults also recorded as feeding on leaves of various sedges [CYPERACEAE])), volant.
Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Allocasuarina dielsiana (C.A.Gardner) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Northern She-Oak).
