Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Dillwynia floribunda Sm. [FABACEAE] Parrot Pea; Dillwynia floribunda teretifolia (DC.) Blakely [FABACEAE] (on foliage)), volant.

Larva: gall-inducer (associated flora: Dillwynia retorta (J.C.Wendl.) Druce [FABACEAE] Heathy Parrot Pea (larvae in galls); Dillwynia floribunda Sm. [FABACEAE] Parrot Pea).

Extra Ecological Information

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Dillwynia floribunda (Fabaceae); Turner & Hawkeswood (1995) confirmed that record as well as a specimen from a gall in D. retorta.
