- Enneapterygius flavoccipitis Shen, S.-C. in Shen, S.-C. & Wu, D.K.-Y 1994. A revision of the tripterygiid fishes from coastal waters of Taiwan with descriptions of two new genera and five new species. Acta Zoologica Taiwanica 5(2): 1-32 figs 1-17 [apparently only Shen is the author of the name according to information provided by Shen] [8, fig. 6].
