Primarily recorded from Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands, but also occasionally recorded from the NSW coast between Byron Bay (28°38'S, 153°37'E) and Sydney (33°50'S, 151°16'E), also Elizabeth and Middleton Reefs; temperate, south-west Pacific.
