Species Ctenochaetus cyanocheilus Randall & Clements, 2001

Introduction

Previously identified as Ctenochaetus strigosus, which is now recognised as a complex of four species, also including C. flavicauda and C. truncatus. Ctenochaetus strigosus is now considered to be endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. See Randall & Clements (2001).
