     Lectotype BMNH 1887.12.7.96 (Bailly et al. 1999 suggested that the lectotype and parlectotypes were designated by Wheeler & O'Riordan 1969, p. 95, but Wheeler & O'Riordan only listed material as syntypes; we are not aware of the first designation of the lectotype other than Bailly et al. 1999), off Valparaíso, Chile, 3951 m. [33°32´S, 74°43´W].
    Paralectotype(s) BMNH 1887.12.7.95; BMNH 1887.12.7.97; MNHP 1890-0128 (ex BMNH); NMI 114.1899 2 specimens (poor condition); ZIL 11720 (ex BMNH).
