Diagnosis

Carapace reniform, triangular or trapezoidal. Valve surface smooth or ornamented. Antennula 7-segmented. Exopod on antenna with one long and two short setae. Seta z2 in males transformed into long claw, setae z1 and z3 seta-like or z1 claw-like, but much shorter than z2. Terminal segment of maxillular palp trapezoidal. Male prehensile palps asymmetrical. Second thoracopod with basal seta. Third thoracopod with Tf seta, terminal segment with one short and two short setae. Caudal ramus without posterior seta. Zenker's organ with 5+2 rows of lines. Genital field in female rounded.
