Introduction

This species is only known from the type locality in South Australia and distinguishable from other species in the genus only by reference to the structures of the male genitalia.

All stages: parenchyma feeder (associated flora: Atriplex nummularia Lindley [CHENOPODIACEAE]).

Diagnosis

General coloration green. Crown of head obscurely patterned with light shades of green. Tegmen pale green tending to brownish apically. Length ♂ 3.3 mm (Evans 1966).

Lower (1953) gave a comprehensive description and provided figures of the male genitalia.
