One paratype from off Cape Naturaliste, WA (34°S, 115°E), also off Cape York, QLD (11°S, 142°E), and off Nowra, NSW (34°42'S, 151°23'E) to east of Flinders Island, TAS (39°48´S, 149°06´E); tropical, temperate, Atlantic Indo-west Pacific.
