Introduction

This species is known from a single female specimen from Mullewa in the Avon wheatbelt of Western Australia close to the border with the Geraldton sandplains.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

General colour pale yellowish (probably green in life). Face of head wider than long, thickened posteriorly. Frontoclypeus posteriorly sloping steeply from the flattened anterior part; medially flattened and laterally with a basin-shaped depression on each side. Tegmen with normal venation; veins concolorous with rest of tegmen. Length ♀ 9 mm (Evans 1966).
