Introduction

This short stubby species is found in SE NSW and Victoria. It may also occur in Tasmania.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Differs from the type species in the slightly greater extension laterally of the postclypeus onto the crown of the head and in the considerably more extensive apical processes of the subgenital plates which are carried in a crossed, instead of a vertical, position. Length ♂, ♀ 3.2 mm. (Evans 1966).
