Introduction
An endemic southeastern Australian genus of three species. The species are mainly short stubby species with the wings extending about to the end of the abdomen or slightly beyond and with the frontoclypeus extending onto the dorsum of the head on either side. The most distinctive feature is a large articulated process mounted at the apex of the subgenital plates.

Diagnosis
Small Deltocephalus-like leafhoppers distinguished by the possession of long sclerotised clasping processes arising from the apices of the subgenital plates. The face of the head is wider than long and the transverse muscle impressions on the frontoclypeus, which extend laterally onto the crown, are well defined. The ocelli are on the crown in alignment with the apex of the coronal suture and adjacent to the eyes and the apex of the crown is broadly acute. The tegmina, which are apically broad, do not completely cover the genital segments, and the apical cells are approximately square (Evans 1966).
