Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, folivore (associated flora: Acacia acuminata Benth. [FABACEAE] Jam Wattle; Allocasuarina huegeliana (Miq.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Rock She-Oak), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Allocasuarina campestris (Diels) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Tamma, She-Oak; Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree).

Extra Ecological Information

The larvae develop in Allocasuarina campestris and Leptospermum sp. and probably also in Casuarina huegeliana and Acacia acuminata, where adults have been found (Curletti 2001).
