Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore, volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Eucalyptus paniculata Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Grey Ironbark; Acacia longifolia (Andrews) Willd. [FABACEAE] Sydney Golden Wattle; Acacia sp. [FABACEAE] Wattle; Drypetes deplanchei (Brongn. & Gris) Merr. [PUTRANJIVACEAE]).

Extra Ecological Information

Williams (1985) recorded the emergence of adults from dead, dry branches of Drypetes australasica (Euphorbiaceae) and Acacia sp. (Mimosaceae).
