Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Allocasuarina littoralis (Salisb.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] Black She-Oak (on foliage); Acacia decurrens Willd. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle (on foliage); Acacia sophorae (Labill.) R.Br. [FABACEAE] Coastal Wattle (on foliage); Acacia pycnantha Benth. [FABACEAE] Golden Wattle (on foliage); Acacia parramattensis Tind. [FABACEAE] Parramatta Wattle (on foliage); Acacia dealbata Link [FABACEAE] Silver Wattle (on foliage); Acacia sp. [FABACEAE] Wattle (on foliage); Allocasuarina littoralis (Salisb.) L.A.S.Johnson [CASUARINACEAE] (on foliage)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer (associated flora: Acacia chalkeri Maiden [FABACEAE] Chalker's Wattle; Acacia spectabilis A.Cunn. ex Benth. [FABACEAE] Glory Wattle; Acacia pycnantha Benth. [FABACEAE] Golden Wattle).

Extra Ecological Information

This species has been collected on various Acacia spp., including A. decurrens, A. parramattensis (Williams & Williams 1983), where the larvae probably develop (Curletti 2001); Hawkeswood (1981) recorded this species from Acacia sophorae; Turner & Hawkeswood (1996) added Acacia dealbata as a larval host; Turner (2001) recorded A. chalkeri as a larval host; Cowrie (2001) listed this species from Acacia dealbata and A. decurrens.
