Centrotypus occidentalis Goding, 1903 by original designation.
Introduction
This genus was created for a single species from southwestern coastal regions of Western Australia. The name is derived as a corruption of the locality Yallingup, Western Australia.

Diagnosis
Frontal margin highly arched. Gena angular, horizontal. Pronotum not gibbous. Lateral pronotal processes broad and in dorsal view uniformly curved backwards. Close to Eufairmairiella [Evans], but differs in M and Cu adjacent, ocelli not conspicuous, and cucullate setae present (Day 1999).
