Diagnosis

Head with punctiform vertexal foveae; antennal clubs formed by apical 3 antennomeres; ventrolateral margins of head carinate from base to beneath eyes; gula with low median carina. Pronotum with lateral antebasal foveae punctiform or absent, median antebasal fovea variably present. Elytra lacking foveae, sometimes with short discal stria. Visible tergite 1 (IV) lacking mediobasal impression and foveae; base of visible sternite 2 (IV) flat.
