Queensland

All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
The colour and structure of species of Varta is fairly uniform for all species which can only be reliably differentiated by the structures of the male genitalia. However, with only one species of the genus present in Australia, tentative identifications of the species are quite easy because of its distinctive appearance.
