Type species:
Anoplius ahrimanes Turner, 1910 by monotypy.
Introduction
Specimens of Turneromyia are often similar in appearance to Ctenostegus and it is usually difficult to separate the two genera on the wing, apart from the fact that Turneromyia tend to be slightly larger.
