This pale greenish brown species is only known from the female holotype from the Avon wheatbelt in Western Australia.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Head punctate, almost flat, with a slight median ridge on the vertex; hind margin produced dorsally; from above angularly produced, the crown only visible at the sides against the eyes. Frons ochreous, the rest of the head greenish and ochreous but for two diffuse black areas on the vertex; eyes reddish brown. Pronotum punctate, pale greenish brown, steeply declivous anteriorly and higher in the middle than at the sides. Scutellum smooth, yellowish; apex green. Tegmen transparent, tinted slightly with yellowish green; appendix small, barely perceptible. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface pale green. Legs pale yellowish green; tarsi pale brown. Length 4mm, head width 1mm (Evans 1936).
