Larva: parasitic.

 

Diagnosis

Similar to T. simulatus except in the following respects. Apex of epiphallus (Figs 25, 43) dorsally a broad subtriangular plate, lateral projections large, rounded and blunt; plate tapering to distinctive, convex, medial sclerotised area with small, blunt lateral and medial projections, apical margin and dorsal band deeply concave. Apex of epiphallus laterally with medial and lateral projections large and recurved, projecting dorsally. Ventral hook absent. Neck spine very large, sclerotised and recurved, deeply excavated on lateral surface.
