Ecological Descriptors

Larva: parasitic.

 

Diagnosis

Similar to T. simulatus except in the following respects. Posterior margin of tergite 2 with transverse band of white scales and median quarter of posterior margin of tergite 3 with tuft of white scales. Apex of epiphallus (Figs 29, 47) dorsally with lateral projections absent; plate distinctive, medial projection broad, terminating squarely, basal margin concave. Apex of epiphallus laterally with medial projection large and blunt. Neck spine absent.
