Larva: parasitic.
Diagnosis
Similar to T. simulatus except in the following respects. Posterior margin of tergite 2 with transverse band of white scales and median quarter of posterior margin of tergite 3 with tuft of white scales. Apex of epiphallus (Figs 26, 44) dorsally with lateral projections absent; medial projection terminating squarely, basal margin truncate. Apex of epiphallus laterally with small, blunt medial projection. Neck spine large, blunt and sclerotised.
