Larva: parasitic.
Diagnosis
Similar to T. simulatus except in the following respects. Tergites 2 and 3 with black hairs and tomentum except posterior margins of both tergites with transverse band of light brown scales. Tergite 4 with black hairs and scales. Tergites 5–7 with black hairs and tomentum on median fifth, lateral margins with light brown hairs and tomentum. Male genitalia with apex of epiphallus (Figs 177, 178) dorsally with lateral projections absent; plate terminating in medial projection. Apex of epiphallus laterally with blunt medial projection. Neck spine absent.
