Ecological Descriptors

Larva: parasitic.

 

Diagnosis

Similar to T. simulatus except in the following respects. Apex of epiphallus (Figs 23, 41) dorsally with lateral projections large, sharp; medial projection distinctive, long, thin, blunt and sclerotised. Apex of epiphallus laterally with medial projection extremely large and recurved, strongly projecting dorsally; lateral projections large and recurved but not projecting dorsally. Neck spine developed apically into broad flange projecting laterally around apical plate.
