Larva: parasitic.
Diagnosis
Similar to T. simulatus except in the following respects. Apex of epiphallus (Figs 35, 53)dorsally with lateral projections small and blunt; medial projection convex, terminating squarely; ventral hooks large, extending anterolaterally; dorsal band linear. Apex of epiphallus laterally as long as wide; medial projection large and recurved, lateral projection small, distinctly apical to neck spine; apical margin truncate. Neck spine large, sharp, sclerotised, recurved.
