Introduction
A prolific genus in the SE Oriental region, Indonesia, Malaysia and across New Guinea to Micronesia, this genus is represented in Australia by four species, distributed between the wet tropics of North Queensland and the NE corner of New South Wales.

Diagnosis
This genus was well diagnosed by Nielson (1975) and no repeat is needed here because it is the only genus of Tharrini found in Australia.
