Species Taenioides mordax (De Vis, 1883)

Introduction

The species was listed as a possible synonym of Taenioides cirratus by Koumans (1940, 1953) and may not be a distinct species, but probably a synonym of T. anguillaris.

Derby, WA and Cooktown, QLD (15°28'S), to Hawkesbury River, NSW (33°45'S); tropical.

Australian Endemic.
