Annali del Museo Civico di Storia Naturale, Genova 8: 1-419 [344] (Thorell says the place of capture is not known; it is either Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), Australia or the West Indies; as extensive field collecting in Australia has failed to re-collect the spider, it is now excluded)
