Introduction
This small brown species with annular rings around the conically produced head is known from the type series collected in three locations within the Sydney basin of New South Wales. The type series comprises 2 males, 3 females, one adult missing the abdomen and 8 nymphs. They all bear a printed Sydney label but other localities are indicated by the addition of a red letter to the label. One female and 1 nymph have a red "M" signifying Mittagong and one male has a red "P" signifying Parramatta. The details of Kirkaldy's labelling system have been explained by Medler (1987).
