Ecological Descriptors
Larvae are polyphagous and have been recorded as a pest of a very broad range of plants; plant hosts include Nicotiana glauca, Solanum lycopersicum fruits (Solanaceae), Syringia sp. (Oleaceae), Dahlia sp., Lactuca sativa (Asteraceae), Viola sp. (Violaceae), Veronica sp. (Scrophulariaceae), Malus domestica (Rosaceae), Musa (Musaceae), Gossypium sp. (Malvaceae), Brassica rapa (Brassicaceae) and many other crops.
