An epigean species based on a single male specimen from the NE Queensland wet tropics.

Adult: phloem feeder.
Extra Ecological Information
Nymph might be phloem feeder or fungivore.
Diagnosis
This species externally resembles S. pallescens but can be distinguished by the arrangement of the aedeagal spines: Basal part of aedeagus left laterally without any spinose processes near its base, right laterally with two slender spines, the superior one directed caudad, the inferior one directed basad.
