Introduction
An epigeal species known only from Lamington National Park in SE Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors
Adult: phloem feeder.
Extra Ecological Information
Nymph might be phloem feeder or fungivore.
Diagnosis
S. bifurca can easily be distinguished from all other Solonaima species by its large body size (♂ 9.8 mm, ♀ 8.8–9.0 mm) and the presence of a bifurcate spinose process on the ventral side of the basal part of the aedeagus. (Hoch 1988)
