Syntype(s) BPBM ♀ (coll.: viii.1904), Kuranda, Queensland.
Introduction
This species was not listed by Day (1999). It was described from Kuranda in the wet tropics of North Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Allied to the immaculate form of S. bipunctata [= Anzac bipunctatus (Fabricius)] but much slenderer, the horns a trifle less pronounced, the anterior margin of the pronotum (viewed in front) narrowly, somewhat deeply impressed, the pronotum immediately posterior to this medianly swollen a little (practically flat in the other species). The tegminal reticulation extends into the subapical cells. Length: (female), 6½ mm, width 2½ mm. (Kirkaldy 1906).
