Type data:
Holotype BMNH ♂ (coll.: iv.1904, F.P. Dodd), Kuranda, Queensland.
Introduction
This species is only known from a male and a female from the wet tropics of North Queensland and a female from Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Frons U-carinae merged with intergenal transverse carina to form anterior margin of head, no vertex. Tegmen elongate parabolic, strong crease in membrane curving from claval apex to costal margin, very faint indication of submarginal line; three longitudinal veins arising from basal stem, no R+S stem. Tegmen tinged light green, margins strongly red, no red spots, thin fuscous line on sutural margin of clavus, pair of wide light fuscous longitudinal bands on mesonotum (Medler 2001).
