Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus moluccana Roxb. [MYRTACEAE] Grey Box (on flowers); Corymbia gummifera (Gaertn.) K.D.Hill & L.A.S.Johnson [MYRTACEAE] Red Bloodwood (on flowers); Eucalyptus acmenoides Schauer, 1843 [MYRTACEAE] White Mahogany (on flowers); Eucalyptus ochrophloia F.Muell. [MYRTACEAE] Yapunyah (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Brooks (1948) recorded this species from flowers of Eucalyptus gummifera.
