Note

This genus needs some attention to consider the taxa described by Obenberger (1956) after Carter's (1928) revision. Despite the prevelant useage of Curis, Selagis Dejean is the older name and there are not sufficient recent publications to allow the reversal of priority to stand as outlined in Article 23.9 (ICZN 1999).
