Extra Ecological Information

Found among seagrasses such as Ruppia sp. and Heterozostera tasmanica; seems to prefer habitats that are rich in detritus.

 

Diagnosis

Rostrum reaching past the end of A1 segment 2, rostrum not bifid at the tip. A1 8-segmented, A2 exopod 3-segmented, segment 2 without seta. P1 endopod-3 twice as long as endopod-2. P1 of male, inner spine on basis not reaching to the base of the inner seta on P1 endopod-1. P2 endopod-1 inner seta reaching to the endopod of P2 endopod-2. P2 endopod-2 with 2 inner setae. P2 endopod of male, tip of terminal spine forms a small hook.
