Introduction
This checklist includes all valid copepod species recorded from Australia, which were known to the author at the time of publication (Feb. 2012). The checklist contains 692 species in 284 genera and 92 families. The Harpacticoida component of this checklist contains 183 valid species in 87 genera and 28 families. If you are aware of any species missing from this list of Australian species, please contact GWS (geneforws@gmail.com) or ABRS (abrs@environment.gov.au) .
